After listening to the newest singles, “Always the Bridesmaid,” from the Decemberists (fittingly, while reading about the Decembrist Movement) I was sorely disappointed to see a major departure from their lyrical allusions to history. I guess I’ll have to start looking elsewhere for my historically themed-baroque-indie-pop-rock fix.
